見習技術主任(電機)須接受訓練三年，主要負責繪製各類電機工程圖則、圖表及工程完工圖；進行簡單的工程計算工作；間中到工地實習，以及使用電腦輔助繪圖機工作。

職責
A Technical Officer Trainee (Electrical) is required to undergo training for a period of three years and is mainly deployed on preparing of electrical engineering drawings, production of sketches and record drawings, carrying out simple engineering calculations and occasional site engineering measurements and work with computer and computer aided drafting systems. (Remark: May be required to work in remote areas, work irregular hours or shifts.)

申請人必須
- (a)
- (i)持有香港理工學院/理工大學、香港專業教育學院或科技學院/工業學院頒發的電機工程證書，或具備同等學歷；或(ii)在香港中學會考數學科成績達C級或以上；並在香港中學會考其他四科[見註(1)] 達E級/ 第2等級或以上成績，當中包括物理科，或具備同等學歷 (申請人如有使用AutoCAD作工程繪圖的經驗或曾接受有關訓練者，會獲優先考慮。)；及
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科達第2等級或以上成績，或具備同等學歷[見註(2)]。
Candidates should have
- (a)
- (i)a Certificate in Electrical Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or technical college/technical institute, or equivalent; or
- (ii)Grade C or above in Mathematics and Grade E/Level 2 or above in four other subjects [see Note(1)] including Physics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent (Preference will be given to those who have previous training or experience in using AutoCAD programme for engineering drawing preparation); and
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent [see Note(2)].

- (2)政府在聘任公務員時，過往香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)C級及E級的成績，在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年及其後舉行的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第3等級和第2等級的成績。
