- (a)策劃、組織和檢討為本地中學課程領導層和中層管理人員而設的科學、科技、工程及數學(STEM)教育強化培訓課程及其他相關教師專業發展課程；
- (b)聯絡學校、大專院校、專業團體及社區不同持份者，及邀請講者於培訓課程分享經驗；
- (c)統籌課程發展處內與STEM相關的組別以策劃和組織培訓課程；
- (d)製作和檢討上述培訓課程的教材；
- (e)負責統籌從強化培訓課程收集所得的有關STEM教育良好示例的工作；
- (f)就推動學校STEM教育提供專業意見；
- (g)就STEM相關活動(例如展覽及比賽)提供專業意見和支援；
- (h)就推動本地學校STEM教育的資源和支援提供建議；以及
- (i)執行被委派的其他職務。

職責
- (a)To plan, organise and review the intensive training programme for curriculum leaders and middle managers and other relevant teacher professional development programmes on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in local secondary schools;
- (b)To liaise with schools, tertiary institutions, professional bodies and other community key players, and to invite speakers to share experiences with participants in the training programmes;
- (c)To coordinate among STEM-related sections of the Curriculum Development Institute in planning and organisation of training programmes;
- (d)To develop and review the course materials for the above training programmes;
- (e)To take lead in consolidating the good practices on STEM education collected from the intensive training programme;
- (f)To offer expert advices on issues related to the promotion of STEM education in schools;
- (g)To offer expert advices on and support to STEM related events such as exhibitions and competitions;
- (h)To offer advices on the resources support for the promotion of STEM education in local schools; and
- (i)To undertake any other duties assigned.
入職條件
- (a)持有本港所頒授主修生物、化學或物理學士學位，或具備同等學歷 [參閱註(i)]；
- (b)持有本港專上教育機構所頒授的教育證書，或具備同等學歷；
- (c)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學文憑考試或香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科取得第3級或以上成績，或具備同等成績 [參閱註(ii)]；
- (d)在取得(a)及(b)學歷後，具有不少於12年的教學或與教育相關的經驗，如課程發展及學校支援 [參閱註(iii)]；
- (e)具備策劃和組織科學/科學、科技、工程及數學(STEM)教育的教師教育專業發展課程或帶領科學/STEM教育的課程發展計劃之相關工作經驗者優先；
- (f)對學校及教師的專業需要有豐富的認知；
- (g)與本地科學教育工作者/教師擁有良好的人際網絡；以及
- (h)良好的領導、人際技巧及溝通能力。
- (a)A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, majoring in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, or equivalent (See Note (i));
- (b)A certificate in education from a Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
- (c)Met the language proficiency requirements of 'Level 3' or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (See Note (ii));
- (d)At least 12 years' relevant post-qualification teaching experience and/or education related experience such as curriculum development and school support (See Note (iii));
- (e)Experience in planning and organising teacher training programmes on Science / Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education or related working experience in leading curriculum development projects on Science / STEM education preferred;
- (f)Good knowledge of the professional needs of schools and teachers;
- (g)Strong network with local science educators/teachers; and
- (h)Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
